Adult Religious Education
The second religious education program for adults this winter is a six-week video series on “The End Times”. Some of the topics touched on in this series include the anti-Christ, the final tribulation, the rapture, bodily death, general judgment, purgatory, heaven, hell, the second coming of Christ, the end of the world, the end of time, bodily resurrection, final judgment and universal restoration. This six-week series is currently being presented each Thursday, 7pm, during Lent in the Saint Joachim’s Parish Center concluding on Thursday, April 10th. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Ash Wednesday
Mass on Ash Wednesday, March 5th, will be celebrated at 7pm. Mass at Holy Trinity will be at 5:15pm should that time be more convenient for you.
Mass Schedule
Due to Father Stephen being away and the lack of replacement priests, there will be no Mass on Sunday, February, 23rd. Mass will be celebrated as usual on Saturday, February 22nd at 4pm.
Office
The parish office will be closed from Thursday, February 20th until Monday, March 3rd.
Turkey Supper
Saint Joachim’s will be holding a home-style Turkey Supper on Sunday, March 30th from 4pm – 6pm in the Parish Center. The cost is Adults $12; Seniors $10; Students $5 and Children under 5 are free.
Tickets will be available at the church entrance before and after the Saturday and Sunday Masses, or during the week at the St. Joachim’s office between 1:30 – 5pm. Only 150 tickets will be sold.
Mass Cancelled
Due to the weather, today’s Mass (Sunday, February 16th) has been cancelled.
