And We’re Back
After a few days of “issues” with the website (and Holy Trinity’s), everything is up and running again. We apologize to anyone who has been looking for last weekend’s bulletin.
Allergies
Many people are now very sensitive, or allergic, to the scents produced by perfumes and aftershaves. Since parishioners sit so closely to one another during Mass, we would like to request that that you would please consider helping us make the church “Scent Free”, or at least “Scent Reduced”. We thank you in advance for helping your fellow parishioners in this small way.
Marian Hour Of Prayer
The K of C will be hosting a Marian Hour of Prayer on Wednesday, November 21st, 7:30pm, in the church. All parishioners are invited to attend. A reception will follow.
Remembrance Candle Ceremony
The tradition of our Church is to remember the holy souls in Purgatory especially during the month of November. On November 10th & 11th in a special Remembrance Candle-lighting Ceremony, everyone will have an opportunity to come forward during Mass to light a candle in memory of the members of their family who have passed on and are presently with God or still on their way to being united with our heavenly Father. It will also be an opportunity to remember those who so courageously and selflessly gave their lives in war so that we may live.
The Book Of Remembrance
The book will be located at the front of the Church beginning on Friday, November 2nd. You are invited to write in the names of your relatives and friends who have died. Your loved ones will be remembered by our Parish during the month of November.
Parish Council Meeting
The next Parish Council meeting is tonight, Thursday, November 1st, 7pm, in the large classroom between the church vestry and the parish office. Use the parish office entrance.
Parish Council meetings are open to all parishioners who wish to attend as observers.
Coffee Social
The Parish Council and Knights of Columbus will be providing coffee and Timbits after both Masses this weekend, October 13th & 14th, in the foyer of the church.
Parish Office
The parish office will be closed until Monday, October 22nd. In the event of an emergency, you may leave a message on our voicemail, and someone will get back to you. All other calls and email messages will be returned on the 22nd.
50/50 Draw
Congratulations to Jim Howlett (Ticket #0128284), who won $880.00 in our September 50/50 Draw.

Ministry Expo & Recruitment Fair
The Parish Council is hosting a Ministry Expo and Recruitment Fair this weekend immediately following each Mass. We invite everyone to come and learn about the great work being done at St. Joachim’s. We are also in need of volunteers for some of our Ministries. Talk with one of our many coordinators and become a volunteer. Light refreshments will be served.
