Mass Cancellation
There will be no weekday Masses during the first two weeks of July.
Volunteers Needed
Each week a team of six volunteers from area churches prepare and serve a free meal to approximately 30 needy members of our community at St. Mary & St. Bartholomew’s Church on Westmorland Road as a part of the Saturday Night Supper program. The churches take turns, and St. Joachim’s is responsible for the meal approximately once every six weeks. The current team from St. Joachim’s has been working in this ministry for several years and feels it is time for some new blood to carry on this important work. If you feel that you could contribute one Saturday evening every six weeks to help feed the less fortunate of our area, many of them children, please contact Paula Coleman (696-4331).

The parish office will be closed next week (June 11th – 15th).

The next meeting of the Finance Committee is on Tuesday, June 19th at 7pm.
Mass Change
There will be no weekday Masses next week (June 11th – 15th).
Reminder
Sunday morning Mass is now celebrated at 11:00am beginning this weekend.

Holy Land Pilgrimage
Pilgrimage goes from October 8th – 19th, 2012 with Christopher Cross and Fr. Peter Stephen. For more information visit either HolyTrinitySJ.com/Pilgrimage or CatholicHolyLand.com; or call Fr. Stephen (653-6842 or office@holytrinitysj.com). Details along with copies of the registration form and the itinerary are also on the bulletin boards in the foyer. Registration deadline is July 1st.
Parking Lot Spring Cleaning
On Thursday, June 7th at 7pm (weather permitting) the K of C will be sweeping the church parking lots. They invite all parishioners to come out and join them in this clean-up project. If you have a push broom, please bring it with you.
Parish Council Meeting
The next Parish Council meeting will be on Thursday, June 7th, 7pm, in the large classroom between the church vestry and the parish office. Use the parish office entrance.
Please note: Parish Council meetings are open to all parishioners who wish to attend as observers. If any parishioner would like to speak at a monthly meeting, or have an item placed on the agenda, please speak to the Chairperson, Robert Taylor, or contact the parish office (office@saintjoachims.com or 653-6852), ahead of time.
