History Of The Bible

We want to remind everyone that Fr. Stephen’s Adult Religious Education Course begins this evening at 7pm in the Parish Hall.

CWL Meeting

Next meeting will be held on January 16th at 3:15pm, weather permitting.

Youth Sunday

Will be celebrated this Sunday, January 15th, at the 11:30am Mass.

CWL

CWL dues of $22 will be collected by a member in the foyer of the church before and after Mass on the weekends of January 21st/22nd and January 28th/29th.

Restoration News

50/50 winner was Mona Fillmore (ticket #0781457). Prize money was $760.00. The Restoration Committee wishes to thank everyone for their support of this project and to the committee over the past three years.

Restoration Pennies

The Restoration committee collected $46.50 in pennies for the month of December. Thanks to all who contributed. Don’t forget your Canadian Tire money.

Adult Catechesis

Everyone is welcome, at no charge, to a 19-week series of adult catechesis – “The History of the Bible, Apologetics and the Reliability of Catholic Truth” – at St. Joachim’s Parish Centre, on Thursdays from 7 – 8:30pm beginning Thursday, January 12th. Come and learn about what the Catholic Church teaches and the reliability of Catholic truth as the sacred deposit of faith entrusted to us by Jesus Christ Himself through His apostles.

First Friday Holy Hour And Mass

The monthly First Friday Holy Hour will take place at St. Joachim’s on Friday, January 6th from 11am – 12:30pm. The Holy Hour begins at 11am and will consist of exposition, adoration, and benediction of the Blessed Sacrament; concluding with 12 noon Mass. All parishioners are invited and encouraged to join us as we spend this special time with Our Lord.

Christmas Baskets

We just want to remind you that We will be packing our Christmas Baskets Today and tomorrow. Anyone who would like to come and help is more than welcome to drop by the hall.
