Restoration News

We made $71 from the penny jar last month. The Restoration Committee thanks everyone for their support.

Thank You

On this, their final weekend with us, we would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the musicians who have been a part of our Saturday Evening Music Ministry for the past 12 years. Their contributions have been greatly appreciated by our parish and we wish them all the best as enjoy some much-deserved time off.

The Book Of Remembrance

The book will be located at the front of the Church beginning on Wednesday, November 2nd. You are invited to write in the names of your relatives and friends who have died. Your loved ones will be remembered by our Parish during the month of November.

Remembrance Candle Ceremony

The tradition of our Church is to remember the holy souls in Purgatory especially during the month of November. On November 5th & 6th in a special Remembrance Candle-lighting Ceremony, everyone will have an opportunity to come forward during Mass to light a candle in memory of the members of their family who have passed on and are presently with God or still on their way to being united with our heavenly Father. It will also be an opportunity to remember those who so courageously and selflessly gave their lives in war so that we may live.

Help Needed

The Restoration Committee needs your help. They would like to find some new members to help plan and carry out new fundraising ideas that are an important part of getting the parish out of debt. If you can’t commit to being a member of the committee, please consider helping out with some of their activities – such as selling 50/50 tickets in the foyer before or after Mass. Contact Conrad (696-5478) for more information.

50/50 Draw

Tickets for the next draw are now on sale. An envelope of 5 tickets costs only $10. Only 200 envelopes will be sold – meaning you have a 1 in 200 chance to win. Draw date is November 14th (unless the tickets sell out earlier). If you wish to buy tickets, call Conrad (696-5478) or Marie (696-8169). Winning number will be announced in the bulletin.
