Adult Religious Education – The Eucharist

Even though the Eucharist is foundational to our faith life as Catholics, very few Catholics understand or appreciate the deep significance of what we celebrate during Mass, which profoundly impacts our daily life. Therefore, everyone is invited to attend a 7-week program on the “Eucharist” every Thursday, 7pm, until December 13th, in the Saint Joachim’s Parish Center. Each session (7pm – 8:30pm) has a 1-hour video presentation followed by a question & answer period. It is not necessary to have attended any of the previous weeks in order to participate.

Knights of Columbus Memorial

The 11:00am Mass on Sunday, November 18th will be offered for the deceased members of Knights of Columbus Council 8364. Following Mass, family members and friends of those being remembered are invited to attend a reception in the Knight’s quarters, where light refreshments will be served.

Thank You To Ministry Chairs And New Volunteers

Remember the Ministry Expo and Recruitment Fair from Sept 29th/30th? The Pastoral Council sends a big “Thank You” to those who represented each of our parish ministries for your time, energy and enthusiasm. We also want to celebrate the success of the event by welcoming the seventeen parishioners who signed up to help with various ministries. Thank you so much for agreeing to give back to our parish. Ministry coordinators will be contacting new volunteers shortly.
